By connecting the device to our account we can begin to receive all the information directly from our vehicle into our mobile. So, we can reliably record the journeys, generate reports, diagnose errors and perform various tracking tasks. Since the first moment in the research phase, we took into account the multiple possibilities offered by having a vehicle as a source of information. This allowed us to design a versatile system that worked for individuals, families or organizations. The characteristics of each user were endless: a user could connect the same device into two different vehicles and at the same time an organization could have drivers with associated devices and vehicles. That is why we designed a system that adapts to the behavior of each case in an intelligent and intuitive way.
BotOn brings the opportunity for fleets and manufacturers to keep an updated status of each vehicle from the first moment. Until today, the only relation between a car manufacturer and an owner happened when the vehicle went to a mechanic shop. With our system the status of the car can be monitored. This offers the ability to forecast when a car should need to go to a workshop, for instance. Or being informed in real time if any of vehicle of a fleet has some damage needing repair.
Also in the portal for companies, in addition to having the vehicle located, we can identify it thanks to the device that sends us the VIN number. In this way it is easy to cross-match it with registration data and to know the driver. Thus, we can connect immediately with the user if necessary, either by phone, via email or through a push message on her mobile phone.
